If you want to stop all messages to your Smart Phone.....- then call Homeland Security! You can't stop progress but you can start with your telecommunication provider- verizon, ATT, Sprint , Team Mobile. Whoever has your contract is probably the biggest offender or spammer with "free text" IM. Privacy laws vary from State to State for SMS. Most require that you opt in to allow access to your phone. Opt out, not in, if you don't want coupons and offers.
E-commerce is all internet commerce. M-commerce relates to all business transacted on Smart Phones with Internet connectivity which is projected to reach $ONE TRILLION$ by 2015. Desktop PC's will become extinct, practically, as more functions are transferred to Mobile. Convert your business to Mobile platforms and you will be a winner out ahead of the herd. Mobile is 24/7 connectivity and represents the "convergence" point of all technology. "Beam us up, Scottie" from Star Trek is still in the distant future but in the minds of developers.
Everyone needs "mobile" services now with only 5% of dot com websites "mobile ready".
Ours is an information campaign for retailers but marketing firms love mobile because of GPS or geolocation knowledge of internet searchers, i.e., shoppers, and traceable results.
The immediate future is Mobile and Local. More than fifty percent of all web searches in the USA are initiated from mobile devices. Google Wallet is rolling out to facilitate "tap phone" to pay kiosk instant payment at retail shops. Follow the money!

Hub Pages, Laughter and Love
Some writer friends of mine and I have engaged in a weekly challenge for the past month. We've written about passion, kisses, friendship and most recently, laughter.
Hubpages is a multimedia platform for writers of all skill levels and I have written and published there for more than three years. Hub construction utilizes separate capsules for text, photos, videos, links, maps, surveys, and comments. As traffic to your published Hub increases, so to do the number of regular followers who appreciate your work and artistry. Your Hub capsules can be organized and arranged as you prefer with the comments always at the end.
Sometimes the conversational exchanges in the comment section are more extensive and interesting than the original article. Such was the case in the Hub which I wrote about the work of the poet and artist, Charles 'Hank' Bukowski.
I'm pleased with my latest published Hub which made me both laugh and cry during its creation. Take a look and you'll understand why laughter and tears cannot be addressed separately.

barbed wire
barbed wire
if one can stand, then one must rise to fullest height
if only kneel, then kneel erect in brave dignity;
if beaten to the ground by the despots cruel might
then lift your head to meet the crush of tyranny.

Gerry Gilligan • Tammy, that's a great use and application for a QR code. You can prepare your own name tag to wear at any event that includes your own QR code. If you are fashion conscious, and I assume you are, you can now create your own QR Code in living color. You can create a brand new business card for each event for free and the rainbow is your only limit. You can link to my Company website from my linked in profile page. Mobile Marketing Menu provides a FREE QR Code rainbow generator. It doesn't make a rainbow but you can use any color in the rainbow spectrum - or black, if that's the evening fashion. A single name tag can generate hundreds of business cards in the smart phones of colleagues and customers. Of course those smart phones will first need to download a free mobile app to read and translate the code. This may eventually put the business card printers out of business. Keep up the good work. people need to be freaked out to open their eyes and mind to the destination of our industry

21st Century Heroine Fights Addiction and Ghosts of Christmas Past
21st Century Heroine Fights Addiction and Ghosts of Christmas Past : This article and poem were inspired by a friend whom I have never met in person and yet we know each other well from our writings, poetry and email. Twenty years ago, we would never have met. And yet fate has thrown us together. I am richer for the experience and introduce you to my dear friend, Kimberly.

Without
I call but there's no anwer and I write without reply,
I look but cannot find you, my reach is always shy;
I long for lost embraces, sustained, secure, and sure,
and remnant spectral traces that may still endure;
Your smile was brilliant sunshine piercing thunderous cloud,
Your laughter, sweet succour, lifting gloom's maudlin shroud;
Your smell, fragrant musk, sentimental pheromone,
Your lush long locks within my fumbling fingers, now gone;
Centigrade risings from our loins, taut, intense, long missed,
Retrograde passion of our lips, locked wetly, deep kissed;
Lemonade bitter parting, sugar shared so sweetly,
Soothing strokes of silken skin, severed so neatly;
Love lost impales the soul upon the stake of desire,
Trove of heartfelt treasure, in flames, upon cruel pyre.

Rise
Knowing that you are in another realm and just about to rise,
My steady hand is at the helm to guide your waking eyes;
Pensively, I wait your day and all the joy it brings,
My ready heart is at the port in need of your supplies.
Apart in sleep can bare be borne,
without you, left forlorn;
Jumpstart my heart wth flickering lash,
from darkness yet be torn.
Ignite the dawn with an earthy yawn,
spare not the stretch of arms;
thrust out your breasts to my heaving chest,
crush me in your embrace.
Once day has dawned, I'm n'er alone,
again we share the sphere;
your hoarsened words sing comfort tones;
as my eyes shed their tear.

Transit
Night is naught but a transit to sunrise,
A preface to tomorrow, today's reprise;
Night unveils the thoughts that dwell in limbo,
Brilliance disguised, day's demise, poised akimbo.
Mere absence of light, the night, at first sight,
‘til star burst supplies new paint for the skies;
Galactic haze, heaven’s maze in the moonlight,
Reveal mysteries of the ages, darkness’ surprise.
Sunshine’s interlude, this day’s prize,
Nocturnal flight, black knight upon dark steed,
Surmounting melting time warped guise,
Trots timely, through darkest dread.
Sand drains through the hourglass to fill my eyes,
Spirit gallops through dreamscapes, faerie land;
Stables of repose, sleep saddles my cries,
Strands of wild rose, horseshoe bouquet, crowning garland.

Windward
I am always there.
I am the dream that awakens you.
I am the the tightly woven linen sheet that drapes and cradles you.
I am the patched quilt that dresses your mattress and collects the warmth of your body.
I've moved into your head and your heart and your lingere drawer.
I am the thought that provokes you, the racing beat that excites you and the indecision of what first to lay against your naked skin.
I am in the shower and by the fire and in the garden.
I am the warm pulsing spray that washes you, the blue licking flames that warm you and the hard frozen earth that clings to your crocus and daffodil bulbs.
I am the bar of Nivea held loosely in your hand and smeared across the length and breath of your body, cleansing and rinsing.
I am the handful of skin lotion rubbed repeatedly between your toes, beneath your souls, along your ankles, carressing your calves, nursing the nape of your knees and inundating the inner aspect of your milky-white thighs, all permeating the membrane of your derma and seeping so deeply into your cells.
I am the acrid aroma of your free-trade coffee and the oozing spread of creamed cheese between the halves of your bagel.
I am the sweetness and moisture of the ripened rainbow of berries against your swollen tongue.
I am the meadowlark swooping in your fallow field, the common carp lunging in your gurgling brook and the stallion stag rutting in your lush forest.
We are the wild whipping wet wintry wind wrapping the world.

out of love
Hate, want
and anger
are toxic
Love is patient
and love is kind
Love is wrapped
in mink stoles
and tin foil
Evil dons
the mask of love
Emotional extortion
is hard to resist
for both players.

their heartstrings in tune
as we hum
our yuletide carols

For Sale
We all sell ourselves daily in this world
Even the fat man leaves his flag unfurled
No hand, tongue, ass, or heart unsullied
No spirit soars until its been bullied
Fueled by our blood, sweat and tears that we've shed
Pain, the proof that we've lived not just dwelled dead.

Blazing Sun
Piercing the autumn clouds
above the shrouds
of Gettysburg
where brother slayed brother
and father slayed son
as metal tore flesh
and shattered bone
and blood irrigated fields
and seeds of enmity sown
and equality was grown
by proclamation
and Address
and so many were
laid to rest
in reverie
of One Nation
under God.

Magnetism
Tom Rubenoff is fine poet who pubishes on Hubpages and his own WordPress poetry blog which I follow. Tom recently wrote a poem about a refrigerator magnet which inspired some additional thoughts of mine which I included in my comment. "One man's meat is another man's poison" but one poet's thoughts are another poet's inspiration.
Magnetism
Tom: The energy images are electric and eclectic. When magnetism is finally fully harnessed as a sustainable energy source, then mankind's greatest hunger will be sated. Since the first log was thrown on the first fire, man has required heat and cold to heat and cool his food for preservation and self-preservation. In short, man's hunger has fueled his need to harness energy- oxen,horse and slave - for plowing, irrigation and harvest and distribution. Oil has replaced much physical labor - calories- but needs to be replaced itself. Wealth was first created through energy but now wealth obstructs technology for its own advantage. The refrigerator magnet is a fine metaphor for what is needed to fuel that refrigerator and to produce its content. I bet there is some clue in the phrase "animal magnetism".
I am a magnet
On the refrigerator door
Holding a picture of your love
On the refrigerator door
Holding a picture of your love
By choice
Surrounded by a cloud of electrons
Some of which belong to you
Others like stray-dog-spirits
Once fed
Some of which belong to you
Others like stray-dog-spirits
Once fed
Nipping at unconscious consciousness
Throughout busy motionless
Days on display
Throughout busy motionless
Days on display
Feeling magnetism decaying
Tenuous temporal hold
Attraction bled
Tenuous temporal hold
Attraction bled
Your thoughts visit
The refrigerator
Every day
The refrigerator
Every day
When they get food
For your reality
I hold a picture
For your reality
I hold a picture
Over my face
While a pack of wild minutes
Bark and drown
While a pack of wild minutes
Bark and drown
My voice

I wouldn't waste a stamp on snail mail to justify my Congressman's existence. The words of citizens fall on deaf ears in D.C.. Shale Gas is the salvation of America. The oil companies are investing and ramping up production. Our commercial fleets are converting to natural gas and the entire fleet will be transformed in seven years. America leads the world in this resource and it can now be produced without further delay. We can dump nuclear completely just like Germany - the only economically successful European country. We have a one hundred year supply of this shale gas and can set up our own OPEC and regulate export with an export duty to dig us out of debt. Leave the windmills to the Dutch.
The best sustainable energy for the future is hydroelectric power, just like with dams. However, the water power to harness is tidal movement which goes two ways and never stops. From coast to coast to coast, Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf, we can install new tidal engines and light this country up like BROADWAY. Get rid of the lobbyists who slow down progress. Regulate the Banks like in the days of savings and loan and hold them accountable to local depositors. God Bless America.
